MCC Introduces IA-6

MCC Transport is pleased to introduce a new Intra-Asia service, namely IA-6, connecting South East Asia with ports in North Asia. The new IA-6 will add 1 vessel to our existing NV-2 service and will create a fast and direct product between the regions.

The new IA-6 will have 28 days rotation covering Singapore – Danang – Haiphong - Hong Kong – Yantian – Keelung – Osaka – Kobe – Busan – Ulsan – Keelung - Hong Kong – Haiphong – Tanjung Pelepas. You can find the North Bound and South Bound rotations along with pro-forma schedule below.

The new IA-6 service will offer you:

  • Unique coverage to and from Ulsan port in South Korea.
  • Direct product with improved transit times from Haiphong, Keelung to the ports in Japan (Osaka and Kobe) and South Korea (Ulsan and Busan).
  • Weekend cut-off at Keelung as well as Haiphong.
  • Improved transshipment product to the rest of Asia via Hong Kong & Tanjung Pelepas.
  • Direct product from Osaka, Kobe, Busan, Ulsan to Keelung, Hong Kong & Haiphong
  • Direct service from Ulsan to Keelung, Hong Kong & Haiphong in MCC service network
  • Direct Yantian to Osaka product with 5 day transit time
  • Direct Yantian to Busan product with 7 day transit time

The first vessel on the new IA-6 service will be Malte Rambow (2UP, voy. 1020) and is expected to phase-in from Singapore on 5th May 2010. Should you have any further queries, please contact your local MCC Transport representative.
