MCC Revises the Cambodia Feeder 2 (KOM2) Service
Please be informed that the Cambodia Feeder 2 (KOM2) service will no longer be calling at the port of Sihanoukville, Cambodia with effect from 9th May 2010. Instead, the KOM2 service will be calling at the port of Kuantan, Malaysia.
Service to the port of Sihanoukville, Cambodia will continue to be available on the Intra-Asia 5 (IA5) route. (Laem Chabang – Ho Chi Minh – Hong Kong – Kaohsiung – Shanghai – Osaka – Tokyo
– Yokohama – Nagoya – Kaohsiung – Hong Kong – Yantian – Ho Chi Minh – Sihanoukville – Laem Chabang)
The revised KOM2 service will now have a 7-day rotation covering the ports of Tanjung Pelepas – Singapore – Kuantan – Songkhla - Tanjung Pelepas. The full rotation with pro-forma schedule can be found here.
- The KOM2 service will continue to offer:
- Weekend cut-off for exports from Singapore
- Weekend cut-off for exports from Tanjung Pelepas
- Attractive transit times for Intra Asia exports as below
- Tanjung Pelepas to Ho Chi Minh: 3 days
- Singapore to Ho Chi Minh: 2 days
- Ho Chi Minh to Tanjung Pelepas: 2 days
The first vessel on the revised KOM2 service is M.V. MCC Chalice (2NZ voy. 1037) and it is expected to depart Tanjung Pelepas on 9th May 2010.
