MCC Introduces the New Intra-Asia 9 (IA-9) Service
MCC Transport is pleased to introduce a new Intra-Asia service (IA-9) connecting South East Asia with ports in South China (including Hong Kong) and Taiwan. The new IA-9 is a fast service from Laem Chabang to Hong Kong and will provide alternative cut-off to you for all your cargo moving out of Thailand (in addition to existing IA-2) with intended connections to our wide network at the hub ports. The new IA-9 will replace one of our existing Philippine Feeder namely PH-5, which is scheduled to phase-out by end May 2010.
The IA-9 service is a weekly service with 21 days rotation covering the ports of Tanjung Pelepas – Singapore – Sihanoukville – Laem Chabang – Hong Kong – Yantian – Kaohsiung – Manila – Tanjung Pelepas.

The first vessel on the new IA-9 service will be Medpearl (3T7, voy 1034) expected to phase-in at Tanjung Pelepas on 14th May 2010. The new IA-9 will offer you :
- Direct and alternative mid week cut-off for your cargo out of Laem Chabang
- Fast transit time from Laem Chabang to Hong Kong and Yantian (4 days)
- Direct product from South East Asia (Laem Chabang, Singapore and Pelepas) to Manila
- Weekend cut-off from Singapore
- Direct and fast service from Sihanoukville to Hong Kong
- Direct service from Kaohsiung & Manila to our hub port in South East Asia, Tanjung Pelepas
- Direct & fastest Manila to Tanjung Pelepas product with 3 days transit time
