Bo Wegener

Chief Executive Officer

Joined Maersk Group in 1995

Bo was appointed Chief Executive Office of MCC Transport from 1st August, 2017

Immediately prior to joining MCC, Bo served as Managing Director of Maersk Line’s South East Asia Cluster and is based in Singapore from January 2016. From August 2014, he was based in Bangkok where he took on the role of CEO for Maersk Line Thailand and Myanmar.

His career in Maersk began in 1995, as a management trainee in Copenhagen. Upon graduating the program in 1998, he moved on to Group HR, where he managed the management trainee program for two years. He has since held a number of commercial positions in Maersk Line in Denmark, Singapore, New Zealand, Panama, Brazil and Spain. He left the Group in 2009, and later re-joined in 2012 as Business Performance Manager for the North Europe Region.

Bo is married to Julie and they have 3 children.

Martin Hjorngaard Hjorth

Chief Financial Officer

Joined Maersk Group in 2005

Martin began his career in Maersk in in 2005 as a Finance trainee, handling various functions like Management Accounting, Centre Planning Operation and Cost Leadership. Upon graduating the training program, he took on roles as a Financial Controller and Analyst at Maersk Line’s Centre Finance. In 2009, he became the Head of Fact Based Reporting Program of the Business Delivery team of Maersk Line, until moving as the Head of Corporate Business Finance in 2013.

Prior to joining MCC Transport as CFO in August 2017, Martin served as a Senior Director and Head of Maersk Line T&L Financial Planning Analysis, Investment Analysis and BICC.

Naresh Potty

Chief Commercial Officer

Joined Maersk Group in 1999

Naresh has held diverse senior management positions within the Maersk Group since 1999, including diverse roles in Commercial, Trade and Marketing, Business Development and General Management. As CCO of MCC Transport, Naresh puts distinct focus on delivery of superior customer experience and commercial excellence. He holds ultimate responsibility for the company’s commercial activities, including Sales, Pricing, Customer Service, Communications and Branding.


Clive van-Onselen

Chief Operations Officer

Joined Maersk Group in 1983

Clive started his career in the Group offshore, as a Navigating Cadet with Safmarine in 1983. After a number of years at sea with Safmarine, he came ashore to work in a number of operations roles in Cape Town. From 1997, he’s held regional and global operational roles in multiple locations, including Belgium, Denmark and Africa, before finally taking up his current role of Chief Operations Officer for MCC Transport. 

Jesper-Claudi Johansen

Chief Line Officer

Joined Maersk Group in 1998

Jesper’s career with the Group began in 1998 as a shipping trainee. After graduating the programme, he took on various roles including Country Manager for Maersk Lithuania, General Manager in Dominican Republic for Maersk Container Business, Sales Manager for West Coast of South America, and Trade Manager for Maersk Line’s Asia – Latin America Trade. He joined MCC in early 2015, taking on the role of CLO, responsible for Capacity, Feedering, Trade and Network Management for the organization. 


Cyril Seah

Head of Transformation

Joined Maersk Group in 1984

Cyril has cumulatively been with the A.P. Moller-Maersk for over 30 years. Prior to joining MCC, he held various senior positions in Marketing, Pricing, Line & Trade Management, IT, Service Delivery and Process Excellence for Maersk Line. In 2013, he took on the role of Program Manager for Damco’s Unilever Global Control Tower Program before moving on to head Damco’s Project Management Office for the roll out of One Damco Strategy in Asia Pacific.

He joined MCC in 2014 as Head of Commercial Processes. He assumed the role of Head of Transformation for MCC In 2016, and has since then been at the helm of the company’s transformation initiatives.


Wendy Weehuizen

Head of Human Resources

Joined Maersk Group in 2017

Wendy joined MCC with 17 years of experience across both business and HR portfolios. She has held local, regional and global roles in Singapore. Most recently, she was at Credit Suisse where she spent 5 years in Corporate Functions HR, partnering the Risk, Finance and Audit management teams in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to that, she spent 10 years with British Petroleum (BP) where her experience included the full spectrum of HR capabilities across 14 countries and harmonizing 2 heritages (BP and Castrol) under one culture. Her corporate HR portfolio is complemented by a stint with the Singapore Government’s Ministry of Home Affairs.

Wendy’s approach to HR business partnering is grounded on the belief that HR strategy is the most effective when it is linked closely to business delivery which allows each to complement and benefit from the other.
