MCC Reefers Get a Cool Makeover! 22 January 2018

As the new year unfolds, our trademark will begin to make even bigger waves all over the world as the new MCC logo finds itself emblazoned on 2,000 brand new reefer containers.

At the beginning of 2017, MCC revealed a change in the company’s logo that represented a rejuvenated brand identity. Throughout the year, many of you may have spotted the tri-colored wave appearing in various places from our digital channels, to our communications and, of course, our offices across Asia.

As the new year unfolds, our trademark will begin to make even bigger waves all over the world as the new MCC logo finds itself emblazoned on 2,000 brand new reefer containers.new mcc reefer1

Reefers are refrigerated containers used to transport chilled and frozen commodities. Unlike a normal container, reefers have an electric refrigeration unit designed to cool or heat the cargo, with temperature setting ranging as high as +30 degrees Celsius or as low as -60 degrees Celsius.new mcc reefer2

Maersk Line has been a pioneer in refrigerated cargo transport since 1936, and as part of Maersk, MCC is able to offer the same wealth of expertise in reefer shipping. Together, we operate the biggest reefer container fleet in the industry today, with around 400,000 reefers being deployed to customers globally.

MCC continues to fulfill the commitment to deliver temperature sensitive goods - like fresh produce, seafood, ice cream and many more - in optimal condition by adding two thousand brand new reefer containers to its fleet. new mcc reefer3

Production of the new containers began in October 2017 at the Maersk Container Industry Qingdao (MCIQ). All the new units proudly bear the new MCC logo on its exterior, and inside, the high-quality standards and optimized reefer box design that customers of Maersk and MCC have grown accustomed to.
